Given the overwhelmingly negative reception Fallout 76 has received from critics and players alike at launch, it’s really no surprise that its sales are being affected as well. Just couple days back, we reported that the game was being discounted by over 30 per cent on several outlets- as it turns out, those prices are continuing to plummet.
On some German outlets, the price of Fallout 76 has been slashed by as much as 50 per cent. Fallout 76’s S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Edition over at Amazon Germany is being sold for the unbelievably low price of €29.99(which seems even lower when you consider that the game only launched eleven days ago). Meanwhile, German retailer Saturn has slashed the game’s price by over 50 per cent, and is currently selling it for the same price.
In its launch week in the UK, Fallout 76’s physical sales were down over 80 per cent those of Fallout 4 in its own own launch week. Meanwhile, the game’s performance on Twitch during its launch week is also over 50 per cent down as compared to the 2015 title back when it released. PC players have also been requesting refunds for the game- read more on that through here.
