May looks to be a great month for video games- yes, there are some heavy hitters, such as DOOM and of course, Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 4, coming out, but also coming out that month are three honestly distinct and intriguing multiplayer shooters. Battleborn, Overwatch, and Homefront: The Revolution are all extremely different from one another- but they’re all united by each of them trying to do something new and unique within the parameters of the shooter genre.
The games’ install sizes are as vastly different as are the games themselves- if you are looking to play any of them, you probably want to know how much space each will take on your hard drive. Thanks to Finder, we now know how big these files are for PS4 and Xbox One:
- Homefront: The Revolution comes in at 34.34GB of storage space needed. It is the largest of these three games
- Battleborn is almost half of that, needing just 19.7GB
- Overwatch is even smaller, asking for just 7.04GB. There have been game patches with larger file sizes than that
So if you are planning on getting any of these games? Make sure you have the hard drive space ready. Nothing is more frustrating than sitting down to play a game, and having to clean out the fridge instead.
