Square Enix recently hosted another Letter from the Producer Live broadcast for Final Fantasy 14, detailing what the MMORPG’s player base can expect from the upcoming update 6.1 in terms of content. The broadcast was helmed by the producer and director Naoki Yoshida, and global community producer Toshio Murouchi, where they dropped new details covering information regarding the upcoming patches 6.11, 6.15, and 6.18.
The title of the update, which is slated to release in mid-April, is “Newfound Adventures”, and judging by the looks of the key art that was revealed in the broadcast, it seems like the warriors of the light are going back to some jolly adventuring.
Final Fantasy 14 will also be receiving a new chapter in the main questline, along with new side quests that include the “Tataru’s Grand Endeavor” chain, and an additional story quest, which will become available after completing all of Endwalker’s quests. Furthermore, A Realm Reborn’s main story questlines will be improved, along with as of now unspecified job adjustments, while Ishgard housing will open in Empyreum.
Furthermore, a new secret dungeon and trial are also being added, along with the addition of adventure plates, which will be fully customizable. Miscellaneous updates such as more hairstyles for Hrothgar, a new parasol idle animation, more glamour plates, and more are also coming, along with the addition of 6.0 and 6.1 in New Game+.
The Data Center Travel System was also covered in the broadcast, which will allow players to visit the servers within the same physical data center. Meanwhile, the timings for the previously mentioned Little Ladies Day seasonal event were also revealed- it is slated to begin on March 14 at 1 AM PDT.
