Forspoken Shows Snippets of Gameplay in New Video

Luminous Productions studio head Takeshi Aramaki speaks about implementation of AMD's FSR in the upcoming Forspoken.

AMD has launched its supersampling tech FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR), and recently confirmed that Square Enix’s upcoming open world action RPG Forspoken (previously known as Project Athia) would be supporting FSR when it launches.

In a video recently uploaded by AMD, Forspoken developer Luminous Production’s studio head and general manager Takeshi Aramaki speaks about FSR and how it’s going to boost the game’s performance and resolution, and how easy it has been to implement (apparently, it took just one day to implement FSR in the game). Meanwhile, brief snippets of new gameplay footage are also peppered throughout the video, showing bits and pieces of traversal. Check it out below.

Of course, the question is whether Forspoken will also support FSR on PS5- but that’s a question for a different day.

Forspoken is scheduled for a 2022 launch on PS5 and PC.
