Forspoken Supports Auto HDR, Ultra Widescreen Displays, and DualSense on PC

Other features like 7.1 audio, dynamic refresh rates, and support for DirectInput and Xinput controllers are also detailed.

Luminous Productions has dropped new details for Forspoken, including the long-awaited PC requirements. They’re rather hefty, with Ultra settings requiring 32 GB of RAM and a GeForce RTX 4080 for 2160p/60 FPS gameplay. But that’s not all, as the developer confirmed several other PC-exclusive features in its recent livestream.

DirectStorage on Windows 11 was previously confirmed with an NVMe SSD required to take full advantage of the same. There’s also support for AMD FSR 2.0, 7.1 audio (Ambisonics), HDR, and Ultra Widescreen displays up to 32:9 aspect ratio (though this is only during gameplay). Windows 11 also get Auto HDR and dynamic refresh rates.

In addition to options to customize the resolution and graphics quality (with Low, Standard, High and Ultra High settings), the DualShock 4 and DualSense controllers are supported. DirectInput and Xinput controllers, and keyboard and mouse, are also supported.

Forspoken releases on January 24th for PS5 and PC. Head here to check out the opening of the game. An update is also live for the console demo which provides various fixes.
