Fortnite Reaches $2 Million a Day in Revenue on Mobile Alone

And it's not even out on Android yet!

Fortnite is currently the most popular game in the world– and large part of its popularity seems to have come from the mobile version, which Epic Games was smart to put out once it realized the game was taking off. That mobile version has continued to grow in popularity, and it seems like it is making Epic a ridiculous amount of money hand over fist- to be specific, it looks like the mobile version of Fortnite alone made Epic more than $2 million on July 13, according to Sensor Tower.

Over $2 million is underselling it, because the number actually almost touched $3 million. The insane thing is, since March 15 (when the mobile version launched) through to now, the mobile version of Fortnite has made Epic $1.2 million a day on average.

The most amazing thing here is that Fortnite is currently only available on iOS devices- it isn’t out on Android, which forms the bulk of the mobile market globally, yet. You can imagine how crazy these numbers may become once the Android version of Fortnite does end up coming out. Fortnite is an absolute cash cow for Epic- for instance, it made $300 million in the month of May alone.
