When Forza Motorsport was showcased at the Xbox Games Showcase last year, Microsoft and Turn 10 Studios confirmed that the racing sim would be out in the first half of 2023. That obviously did not come to pass, while release date wasn’t confirmed at the game’s showing earlier this year either. But Microsoft and Turn 10 have insisted that it will be out sometime in 2023– so when exactly can we expect a release date announcement?
It seems one will be coming soon, and has actually been leaked ahead of time. In a recently published report, Exputer has claimed that Forza Motorsport will be out on October 10, which would put it little over a month away from the launch of fellow first party exclusive Starfield, which is due out in early September. In a recent episode of his podcast, Xbox insider Rand al Thor corroborated the leak, confirming that it is indeed out in October.
The Xbox Games Showcase is scheduled for June 11, which is where the release date for Forza Motorsport is likely to get announced. Following that, Turn 10 Studios will be revealing new Career Mode gameplay footage and details on June 13.
