Ghost Recon Breakpoint’s Newest Trailer Talks About the Global Threat of Lethal AI Weaponry

The work of Skell Technology poses an imminent threat to the entire world in Breakpoint's newest trailer.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is promising a narrative setup that differs wildly from what we saw in its immediate predecessor, Wildlands. You head with the Ghosts to the island called Auroa, owned by billionaire entrepreneur Jace Skell, who owns Skell Technology, the blue chip company that’s the leading manufacturer of weaponry and lethal AI in the world.

Obviously, things quickly go wrong, with Skell Technology having been commandeered by rogue Ghost and now-leader of the antagonistic group known as the Wolves, Cole D. Walker. The newest trailer for the game released by Ubisoft, which you can view below, talks about the background, dangers, and growing imminent threat of the Skell Tech, and serves as a nice setup for the game’s narrative. Take a look below.

We’ve learned quite a bit about Ubisoft’s upcoming co-op shooter in the days since its announcement, from how its loot will function, to how big its map is going to be, to the nature of its first endgame raid, and loads more. Ghost Recon Breakpoint is out on October 4 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
