GhostWire: Tokyo Has Been Rated in Korea

Tango Gameworks and Bethesda's action-adventure game is scheduled to launch sometime in early 2022, but doesn't yet have an exact release date.

Tango Gameworks’ first person action-adventure game GhostWire: Tokyo has been on many people’s radars for while now, and the more of it that has been shown of, the more interesting the game has looked. Originally due out sometime in 2021, Bethesda announced that the game had been delayed to early 2022 halfway through last year- but we’re in 2022 now, and a specific release date of the game is yet to be revealed.

While there’s no development on that front where official word from the people behind the game is concerned, it seems like that could change soon. As pointed out by Gematsu on Twitter, GhostWire: Tokyo was recently rated in Korea. Certifications for games are generally handed out when they’re approaching launch, and if that is the case here, then it’s possible that we might get a specific release date announcement for this one in the near future.

Interestingly, the certification also includes some brief details about the game’s narrative premise, talking about a protagonist who gains spiritual powers in Shibuya, where “tens of thousands of people have disappeared due to a supernatural phenomenon.” Also mentioned are the protagonist’s “struggles to save his younger brother”.

GhostWire: Tokyo will launch only for PS5 and PC.
