After rumors and intense traffic causing errors, you can now claim Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto 5 on the Epic Games Store till May 21st. This is the Premium Edition which includes all of the gameplay updates, Grand Theft Auto Online updates and the Criminal Enterprise Starter Pack. Along with an Epic Games account and the launcher, you’ll need to active Two-Form Authentication to claim the game.
Whether you’re playing the campaign or multiplayer, there’s a lot to like about Grand Theft Auto 5. The open world and story-telling have received heaps of praise, and Grand Theft Auto Online is chockfull of stuff to do, from races and shootouts to heists. Sure, it’s several years old at this point but it was last reported to have sold 115 million units and combined 150 million with Red Dead Redemption 2.
What’s next for those who already own the game on one or more platforms? According to rumors, Grand Theft Auto 6 is in development and will be more of a medium-sized experience when it launches (which is still large by the developer’s standards). Rockstar will then expand upon it with post-launch updates but it’s a ways off from release.
