Guilty Gear Strive Adds Elphelt for Season 3 DLC, New 3v3 Game Mode Announced

The fan-favorite fighter is out today for Season 3 Pass owners. Meanwhile, the new online mode will launch in 2024 for all players.

Arc System Works and Bandai Namco Entertainment have officially announced the next character coming to Guilty Gear Strive. It’s Elphelt Valentine, a fan favorite who’s embraced a new career as a singer. She’s out today as part of Season 3 DLC. Check out her trailer below.

Created by the Universal Will, Elphelt was preoccupied with finding a marriage partner. After some things happened, she’s back but maintains her boundless optimism. As part of the band Speothos Venaticus, Elphelt is good at mix-ups with her classic firearms making a return.

While Elphelt is available imminently for Season 3 Pass owners, all players can look forward to a new 3v3 mode, Team of 3, for online play. It’s launching in 2024, so stay tuned for more details in the coming months.

Guilty Gear Strive is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. Check out our review of the base game here.
