Guilty Gear Strive Starter Guide Showcases Queen Dizzy’s Broken Kit

Between freezing and igniting opponents with Undyne and Necro, Dizzy's Wings of Light can inflict significant unblockable damage.

After announcing that Queen Dizzy would join the Guilty Gear Strive roster on October 31st (alongside a new balance patch), Arc System Works has released her Starter Guide video. It outlines everything you should know about her moveset, from elemental attacks to her borderline broken abilities. Check it out below.

Utilizing Undyne and Necro, Dizzy can unleash ice and fire attacks. The former outright freezes opponents, making it easier to follow up with hard-hitting moves like the screen-sweeping Michael Sword. However, Undyne can also cover the stage with an icy floor, affecting both players’ movements.

However, perhaps her strongest move is Wings of Light. Once activated, it drains Dizzy’s Tension Gauge to unleash unblockable damage. Given the sheer output, it wouldn’t be surprising if a nerf arrived sooner than later. Of course, you can activate and cancel Wings of Light when the situation dictates.

Queen Dizzy is the first character in Season Pass 4, with Venom arriving in early 2025, Unika in the Spring, and Lucy from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners in the Summer. Stay tuned for further updates in the meantime.
