Halo Infinite 2022 Roadmap Revealed, Forge Coming In September

A new content roadmap has outlined target release dates for events, game modes, and content additions for Halo Infinite throughout 2022.

343 Industries has finally shared a 2022 content roadmap for Halo Infinite, including the upcoming Season 2: Lone Wolves and beyond through a recent update on Halo Waypoint. The roadmap contains target release windows for content updates, quality of life improvements, and mid-season events that will be taking place throughout the second season, which starts May 3rd.

Headlining the new content are two new maps, Catalyst and Breaker alongside new game modes like King of the Hill, Land Grab, and Last Spartan Starting. Narrative events will be coming in May (Interference) and August (Alpha Pack). Additionally, there’s also a Fractured: Entrenched event that will be taking place starting May 24 up until May 30.

Finally, there’s campaign co-op and Forge, the latter of which will have an open beta slated for sometime in September, while the former is targeting Late August release window. There’s also the general promise of constant quality of life updates throughout the season, which could help in making the Halo Infinite player experience markedly better than before.

343 Industries has highlighted that it wants to prioritize its team’s health more than anything else, so the roadmap might be changed mid-season accordingly. Support studio Certain Affinity is also hard at work on introducing new and exciting ways to play the game- read more on that through here.
