As Halo Infinite’s launch approaches, 343 Industries and Microsoft have been releasing new details for the first person shooter at a regular clip, and though we did recently get to see gameplay from the single player campaign at long last, there has, of course, been plenty of new info to digest on its multiplayer component as well. In fact, recently, courtesy of IGN, we also got a look at a brand new map that’ll be in the game.
The map, called “Streets”, will be set in New Mombasa at night time, true to the leaks. The fictional city was first introduced in Halo 2, and then served as the central setting for Halo 3: ODST. Streets will be one of Halo Infinite’s smaller maps and is designed for 4v4 Arena matches. A lot of the map is indoors within several buildings that are clustered around a couple of city streets, while there’s also plenty of good sightlines for those who want to do some sniping. Check out a solid chunk of gameplay and many more details on the map in the video below.
Halo Infinite launches on December 8 for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.
