Halo Infinite Reveal Will Focus on Campaign Gameplay

Don't expect any multiplayer gameplay at the upcoming showcase.

Microsoft’s next showcase for titles coming to Xbox Series X has been confirmed for July 23rd. Though it hasn’t outlined all of the games that will be appearing, 343 Industries’ Halo Infinite has been confirmed. Moreover, we’ll finally see gameplay from the upcoming shooter, which is the first major Halo title since Halo 5: Guardians launched in 2015.

According to the recent Halo community update, however, this will be a first look at the game’s campaign. That could potentially mean no multiplayer gameplay at all. Then again, if the rumored beta for the game takes place, then footage for the latter will inevitably crop up before launch.

343 Industries has remained tight-lipped on the campaign, hinting at The Banished from Halo Wars 2 making an appearance. Rumors have also circulated about the campaign using long takes for its camera shots akin to God of War. It won’t be long before we see it for ourselves so stay tuned.

Halo Infinite will release this holiday season for Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC.
