Hitman Absolution: It ‘Will Be The Biggest, Most diverse Hitman Game Ever Made’

IO Interactive are well known for their amazing Hitman franchise. Whenever one will talk about stealth masters like Snake or Fisher, code Agent 47 will most likely pop up too. Such has been the impact of the Hitman games ever since the turn of the century.

Hitman Absolution was shown in action at last month’s E3 and despite people having doubts about IO Interactive due to their past games on Kane & Lynch, we think it was one of the best games on the floor.

In an interesting interview with NowGamer, game director Tore Blystad believes that Absolution will be THE Hitman game in the franchise.

Hitman: Absolution will be the biggest, most diverse Hitman game ever made. It builds on the established formula of its predecessors while adding whole new dimensions to the fantasy, the world and the game mechanics.

Agent 47 is more empowered and deadly than ever before but his strongest abilities are still infiltration, stealth and impersonation. We set up the rules of the game, but it is up to you, the player, to decide how to play it.

We will see how this one pans out when the game releases on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC in 2012.
