Square Enix had even more of Kingdom Hearts 3 to showcase during the Tokyo Game Show. The latest gameplay demo features the worlds of Olympus (Hercules) and Toy Box (Toy Story), offering a better look at the combat and enemies that players will face. Check it out below (courtesy of Kira A on YouTube).
Along with showcasing the amazing visuals that accurately capture the aesthetic of their respective properties, the footage also showcases some of Sora’s moves. We’re not sure what to call “hitting enemies with a magical pirate ship”, but it looks cool. Kingdom Hearts 3 already had an extended trailer earlier this week, showcasing properties like Pirates of the Caribbean, Frozen, and Big Hero 6. As you’d expect, they all looked pretty cool.
It’s pretty crazy that Kingdom Hearts 3 will be launching on January 29th 2019 for Xbox One and PS4, especially considering its long development cycle- it’s finally (almost) here. The story will directly continue from Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance and sees our heroes Sora, Donald, and Goofy heading towards the final battle with Master Xehanort.
