Kingdom Hearts 3

As promised yesterday, Square Enix has released a new trailer for Kingdom Hearts 3. This is actually the extended version of the teaser trailer that debuted during Sony’s pre-TGS Lineup Event. While Disney properties like Big Hero 6 and Tangled were showcased there, we get to see a lot more here.

Along with the appearance of Big Hero 6 characters like Baymax, we get to see how Sora, Donald, and Goofy interact with them. Flying around on Baymax’s back is one such example, but sailing the seas with Captain Jack Sparrow against Davy Jones and the imposing Kraken is another cool bit of gameplay. The visuals are top-notch are all-around.

Of course, there are the obligatory Riku, Organization XIII, and King Mickey appearances too. All in all, Kingdom Hearts 3 is shaping up to be a pretty worthy mainline follow-up, despite spending so many years in development. It’s out on January 29th, 2019 for Xbox One and PS4.
