Left Alive Has Gone Gold on PS4, Chapter 6 Gameplay Showcased

PC version still being tweaked, but it should be ready for its Western release.

Left Alive, an action survival shooter featuring talent that worked on Armored Core and Metal Gear Solid, has gone gold for PS4. In their most recent live show, Square Enix confirmed that the console version was pretty much done and would be releasing on time in Japan. The PC version still requires some work, but it will be finished in time for the Western release.

The live show also showcased some new gameplay (from 19:32 onwards) of Chapter 6. Taking place further into the game, it’s a tougher mission starring Mikhail that showcases more advanced tactics from the AI. It’s more of a defensive mission than the sneaking and mech gameplay we’ve seen till now.

Left Alive releases on March 5th for PS4 and PC. It takes place in 2127, and focuses on the invasion of Novo Slava. Three characters from different backgrounds will have to survive in their own ways, from battling enemy soldiers and mechs to laying traps and coveting resources. The story also changes depending on actions taken, so we’ll see just how epic the conflict can get in a few weeks.
