Lords of the Fallen Does Not Use Denuvo DRM for PC Version

The official X account for Lords of the Fallen has made its stance on the use of Denuvo DRM clear.

Responding to questions by a player about the kind of DRM the PC release of Lords of the Fallen will use on launch, Developer Hexworks has revealed that the game will not be using Denuvo. The studio goes on to state that there are also no future plans to use Denuvo’s much-maligned DRM software.

Lords of the Fallen officially hits store shelves today, and is available on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Early reviews have indicated that, while the PC and PS5 versions of the game might face some technical issues, the Xbox Series X/S version is quite far behind. The studio has stated that it is currently working on patch for the Xbox Series X/S release of the game.

Leading up to the game’s release, Lords of the Fallen got launch trailer that showed off its bleak world and intense combat. The game takes place 1,000 years after the events of the original 2014 release of Lords of the Fallen, and as you can imagine, things have gotten much worse.
