Actor Brett Gipson has revealed through his updated resume (via MP1st) that he is starring in two AAA video games coming out in 2026. Along with playing the role of Sabretooth in the Insomniac Games-developed Marvel’s Wolverine, Gipson is also playing a role in Rockstar Games’ upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6.
While the exact character he plays is unknown for now, since we still don’t know much about the upcoming game’s story, his resume says that it will be a supporting character named Ellis. He has also considered the role to be big enough to list on his resume alongside others like Jim Hopper in Stranger Things: Tales from ’85, and Sabretooth in Marvel’s Wolverine.
Since Ellis has been described as a supporting character by Gipson’s resume, it’s safe to assume that he will be a character that players get to encounter during their time in Grand Theft Auto 6’s Vice City and the state of Leonida. However, whether this character will be relegated to only a few side missions or if he plays an important role in the central storyline of the game remains to be seen.
The few details about Grand Theft Auto 6’s story that have been revealed confirm that it will revolve around a couple – Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval. While the former is an ex-convict and recently got out of Leonida Penitentiary, the latter has been described as a drug runner and racketeer who also happens to have military experience. The core story is set to feature a seemingly simple score going horribly wrong, and in the process, throwing our two protagonists into a web of criminal conspiracy that happens to span the entire state.
Rockstar Games recently confirmed that pre-orders for Grand Theft 6 will be starting on June 25th. In the process, the company also gave fans new look at Vice City by posting a new fly-by video of the setting on its official website. The title is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on November 19th.
As for Sabretooth, the character was showcased during a recent extended gameplay trailer for Marvel’s Wolverine. In an interview, game director Mike Daly confirmed that Sabretooth will have “competitive dynamic” with Logan. “Whereas Jean Grey might give you an opportunity to get a kill, with Sabretooth fighting alongside you, it’s more like you think you’ve got a kill and he rushes in to steal it from you, and their combat banter brings out that dynamic and makes the whole fight more fun,” he explained.
The trailer itself also gave us a good look at just how violent and brutal Marvel’s Wolverine will be. Fans of more subtle details were also happy with the trailer, since it gave us a look at things like how detailed the fabric worn by characters was, and how impressive its real-time reflections looked.
Marvel’s Wolverine is being developed exclusively for the PS5, and is slated to hit store shelves on September 15th. A PC version is unlikely, since Sony has seemingly decided to go back to exclusive releases for its first-party single-player games.
