Mass Effect 3 DLC sold before release by GameStop

GameStop may have accidentally leaked the first major, story release of Mass Effect 3, an entire month before the game itself actually even releases.

A consumer sent a receipt image to Joystiq (pictured right), confirming that GameStop sold code for Mass Effect 3’s “FromDust” DLC (no, not Ubisoft’s From Dust). The consumer claims the DLC was sold at $10.

For a $10 DLC, you can expect more than just character skins, weapons or updates. It looks and sounds like a major story DLC, but BioWare or EA are yet to confirm anything.

EA recently announced a full fledged third person shooter Mass Effect game, called Infiltrator, for all iOS devices, and it looks pretty awesome. Read the full story here.
