Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain New Update Makes Having Nukes Even More Beneficial

So much for that global nuclear disarmament...

Having nuclear weapons on your Forward Operating Base (F.O.B.) has always been beneficial in Metal gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain. At the very least, it helps fend off would be invaders from stealing your precious resources. Starting today, a new update has made having nuclear weapons even more beneficial.

Today, Konami released a new patch for Metal Gear Solid 5, which introduces some changes to nuclear weapons ownership. Per the patch notes, the more nuclear weapons one owns, the less likely it is for a FOB to be targeted by invaders. That makes that dream of a global nuclear disarmament that the game allegedly hides a secret ending behind even more hard to reach, doesn’t it? Damn, Konami, help us out here a bit, won’t you?

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is available now on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more, excruciatingly detailed coverage of the game.
