Metal Gear Solid 5 The Phantom Pain Save Data Bug Fix Available on PS4, PC

A bug that prevented progress from saving when using Quiet for certain missions has been addressed.

Konami has announced that a major bug in Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, wherein your progress refuses to save if you have Quiet as a buddy in mission 29 or 42, has been fixed for PS4 and PC.

As per the official Metal Gear Twitter, “We’re happy to report that fix for the Quiet/save data issue has now been implemented for PS4. The same fix for other platforms are coming.” Konami later updated that the fix was also available on PC and Steam. It seems that Xbox One users will have to wait longer for the fix.

Konami is also investigating existing issues with servers as well. “We continue to look into server issues and are working on solutions for all affected platforms. We hope to implement these soon.”

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is in the mix of several different controversies currently – the overall game has received high critical praise but there have been concerns of cut content and the game not being finished overall.
