Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, Avowed to Receive Extended Gameplay Looks

Obsidian's first-person role-playing game receives new details today, while Konami's upcoming remake will appear on June 11th.

Konami’s Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater and Obsidian Entertainment’s Avowed received some decent gameplay during the Xbox Games Showcase. However, those seeking more will receive extended gameplay looks during the Official Xbox Podcast, per Xbox Wire.

Avowed will get its extended look today, while Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater gets a deeper dive tomorrow, June 11th. Dedicated blog posts are also coming for both to provide even more details. Perhaps they’ll outline the mechanics of each title further, especially the changes in the latter. Obsidian could also reveal an official release date for Avowed, rumored to be in November.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is a more interesting case. Though PlayStation claimed it would launch in 2024, reports indicate it may be delayed to 2025. Pre-orders will seemingly open up as well, with the Standard Edition allegedly retailing for $69.99 and the Collector’s Edition costing $199.99. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
