Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Free on PC With Some Nvidia Cards

After offering hit games such as Watch Dogs, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and Batman: Arkham Knight for free with new purchases of its GTX 980 and GTX 970 cards, Nvidia has announced that it will be offering free copies of the upcoming, highly anticipated conclusion to Kojima’s Metal Gear Solid series, The Phantom Pain.

Beginning immediately, Nvidia is giving away copies of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain with the purchase of select GeForce GTX 980 Ti, 980, 970, and 960 cards and systems, as well as select GeForce GTX 980M and 970M notebooks.

Of course,while you will technically get your copy of the game ‘now,’ you can’t actually play it till it launches- the PC version of the game is out September 15, two weeks after the launch of the game on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, and PS4.
