With E3 2021 approaching, rumours and leaks about the game’s we’re potentially going to see during the week are heating up, as they always do. Microsoft is primed to have a big showcase, like others are, and we’ve already had quite a few reports about things that we’re possibly going to see, including a specific release date for Starfield and an announcement of Forza Horizon 5. But there’s apparently going to be plenty else.
Known Xbox insider Klobrille recently took to the Xbox Era forums and stated that to his knowledge there are at least five upcoming AAA Xbox games that Microsoft is planning on revealing this Summer. The insider says that plans are still “fluctuating”, so nothing is set in stone, but that “gameplay trailers and/or demos should have a bigger presence at least for the already announced things coming this and next year.”
Of course, the natural thing to do upon hearing something like that is to speculate- so what exactly could these five games be? One of them is almost certainly Forza Horizon 5, while we’ve also heard reports of Arkane’s new vampire IP Omen. Beyond that, it’s anyone’s best guess. Hopefully, MachineGames will take the stage to reveal Wolfenstein 3.
Either way, stay tuned, and we’ll keep you updated on any new info that comes our way.
