Capcom has announced yet another milestone for Monster Hunter World, its critically acclaimed hack and slash action RPG that focuses on locating fantastic beasts and murdering them. According to the publisher, Monster Hunter World’s total worldwide shipments and digital download sales have crossed 7.5 million units, making it the best-selling game in the company’s history.
Roughly 1.89 million sales from the PS4 version in Japan as per the recent Media Create software numbers with 652,614 digital sales coming from the PS4 version in Japan as well. As such, Monster Hunter World was the top-selling title for the United States in January 2018 according to The NPD Group and has consistently been in the top 10 for the UK as Gfk Chart-Track.
