Mortal Kombat 11 DLC – Arnold Schwarzenegger Not Voicing Terminator

He won't be back.

Mortal Kombat 11 fans were recently treated to a bunch of exciting news, when it was announced just who the newcomers in its roster of fighters would be with its Kombat Pack– among its list of notable fighters was the Terminator, Arnold Schwarzennegger himself.

Shortly after the announcement, the game’s director and series creator Ed Boon sent out a tweet, saying, “Part of me still can’t believe we got Arnold.” Which, of course, seemed to suggest that the actor would be voicing the character in the game. That, however, is not going to be the case.

The Hollywood Reporter confirms, via a “knowledgable source” as well as official word from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment themselves, that only Schwarzenegger’s likeness is used to the game (and to great effect, if I might add). As far as the character’s voice over his confirmed, the game uses a sound-alike.

Recent rumours indicate that Joker – another character announced as part of the Komat Pack – was brought in as a replacement for Ash Williams, who was originally going to be part of the DLC.
