New Tom Clancy Game Possibly Teased – Splinter Cell Incoming?

"Skell Technology" pops up yet again in Ghost Recon: Wildlands.

Ubisoft has made a habit out of teasing new things in their current games (they recently teased what is almost definitely the next Assassin’s Creed game in The Division 2), and it seems like they’re doing so yet again. YouTuber Coreross has spotted a tease that might be hinting at an imminent announcement for a new Tom Clancy title.

The newly released content update for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, Operation Oracle, contains a cheeky invitation to attend Skell Con for Skell Technologies on May 9, 2019 at 11.30 AM PDT / 7.30 BST, 8.30 AM CEST , which is literally days away from now.

On its own, that might not have meant too much- but this isn’t the first time Ubisoft have teased something related to Skell Technology in the past. References to the fictional organization have been spotted in Ubisoft’s Tom Clancy games previously, while there’s also an entire hidden website dedicated to the same. Read more about that through here.

Whatever the tease is alluding it – if it is indeed alluding to an actual new game – it is almost definitely a new Tom Clancy title- but beyond that, there’s not much else to go on. A new Splinter Cell game has been one of the most highly demanded games by Ubisoft fans, so most people will be hoping that that’s it, but for now, there’s no way to be sure.

Stay tuned to GamingBolt though, and we’ll keep you updated as soon as we have more info- hopefully on May 9th, as this tease suggests.
