More than six years on from its original launch, No Man’s Sky is now finally available on the Nintendo Switch. Hello Games’ massive space-faring survival title comes with all features and all content available on other platforms, and based on the footage we’ve seen of it so far, looks pretty solid. Check out its launch trailer below.
Of course, the Nintendo Switch launch is paired with the release of update 4.0, dubbed “Waypoint” by Hello Games. As has been the case with previous milestone updates for the game, Waypoint is a meaty one, bringing a number of improvements and additions.
In addition to Nintendo Switch support, the update also brings to all platforms several other features, such as custom game modes, a new Relaxed difficulty mode, a visual overhaul for inventories, improvements to crafting and missions, seamless autosaves, and much more. You can find out more about the update through here, and check out a trailer accompanying its launch below.
No Man’s Sky is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, PC, and of course, Nintendo Switch. A PlayStation VR2 version of the game is also in development.
