Outriders Inventory Restoration Has Started

Players who lost inventories and couldn't login are being prioritized first.

People Can Fly’s Outriders has had its share of issues since launch, the inventory wipe bug being the most prominent. Though the bug was fixed, several players had lost their inventory, which the developer pledged to restore. The restoration phase has gone live for “Group A” characters who faced inventory wipes and couldn’t login due to the “Couldn’t Connect to Server” error.

Players are advised to check their affected characters’ inventory and then check back if it hasn’t been restored. The restoration process includes all items equipped at the time, all Legendary items in one’s inventory at the time and all fully completed Accolades (if you reached the final tier, that is). Other items are restored based on rarity (starting from Epic) and then based on date acquired.

Items haven’t been restored with 100 percent accuracy and if your inventory is full, then the restored items will be kept server side until there’s space. It’s worth noting that Group A characters may also receive up to 20 Legendary items that were previously sold but with perfect rolls. Group B restorations – consisting of players who lost items but could still login – will start once the developer is satisfied with Group A’s rollout. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
