Overwatch 2 Developer Will “Give Insight” on 2023 Plans “Soon”

Executive producer Jared Neuss says there will be information soon on "what the year holds" for the free-to-play hero shooter.

Overwatch 2 has had quite the influx of content over the past few months, with a new hero in Ramattra, new Control map, and a One-Punch Man collaboration event. However, an updated roadmap for the future has yet to be provided. As per executive producer Jared Neuss, that’s seemingly coming soon.

Replying on Twitter, he said, “We’re planning to give insight into what the year holds for Overwatch 2 soon!” Of course, when that information is coming remains to be seen. If the development team follows the same cadence, the next hero should arrive in Season 4.

However, it has yet to provide details on the highly-anticipated PvE content that formed a major part of the game’s initial marketing. All we know is that these co-op story missions will be coming this year, but how many and how regularly is unknown. Hopefully, the coming “insight” has some answers.

Overwatch 2 is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch. Stay tuned for more updates in the meantime.
