Overwatch 2 Features Hero Talents and In-Game Items – Rumor

New heroes, modes and maps are also included.

Reports of Overwatch 2, sequel to Blizzard Entertainment’s massively successful hero shooter, have been circulating for a while now. A new report by ESPN has recently emerged based on a source at BlizzCon and a training document which indicate that the sequel is indeed real. Along with a new logo, it will have new modes, heroes, maps and yes, a PvE component.

The co-op PvE component supports four players with one of the missions taking place in Rio de Janeiro. There are now hero talents, which provide different perks on top of standard abilities, and in-game items that can be used. However, it’s interesting to note there will be a new PvP mode as well with “Push”, which takes place on a new map set in Toronto.

Both the PvE mission and Push are likely to be playable at BlizzCon 2019 with Blizzard also announcing a new hero. Along with Overwatch 2, Blizzard is also apparently looking to reveal Diablo 4, its next big sequel in the action RPG franchise. The event takes place from November 1st to 3rd so stay tuned for more details and potential leaks.
