After a short gameplay trailer at Summer Game Fest Showcase, Grinding Gear Games’ Path of Exile 2 received a teaser at the PC Gaming Show. It showcased a new area, Aggorat, and what seems to be a new Ascendancy. Check it out below.
This new Ascendancy seemingly combines martial arts with elements spells, like Lightning Tendrils and Glacial Cascade. New enemies and a boss can also be seen, and the visual fidelity is a step up from the current game. Whether the optimization holds up remains to be seen.
Path of Exile 2 will receive more details at ExileCon 2023 on July 28th and 29th. The beta launch date for PC will be revealed, and Grinding Gear Games is also showcasing Path of Exile: Mobile and the 3.22 expansion for the base game.
Though Path of Exile is available for Xbox, PlayStation and PC, Path of Exile 2 may not be coming to Xbox One and PS4. Stay tuned for more details.
