Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is Now Available for Deluxe Edition Owners

Those who own the Deluxe Edition get three days of early access to the Metroidvania, which is out worldwide on January 18th.

Ubisoft Montpelier’s Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown isn’t out until January 18th worldwide. However, the side-scrolling Metroidvania is available now for Deluxe Edition owners, who get three days of early access.

As a new story in the Prince of Persia series, The Lost Crown focuses on Sargon, a member of the Immortals. After Prince Ghassan’s kidnapping, he ventures to Mount Qaf for the rescue, discovering new time-bending powers and battling all kinds of threats.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is estimated to offer 25 hours of gameplay, with an extensive suite of accessibility and difficulty options. For more details, check out our review – we awarded it 9 out of 10. You can also play the free demo, though progress doesn’t carry over.

Along with early access, the $59.99 Deluxe Edition includes the Warrior Within and Immortal outfits (which are cosmetic-only), the Prosperity Bird Amulet for finding “hidden treasures”, and a Digital Adventure Guide.
