Ubisoft’s Prince of Persia series is back in Metroidvania form with Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. Developed by Ubisoft Montpelier, the 2D side-scroller focuses on Sargon, an elite warrior who must save Prince Ghassan. Of course, things are never that easy, especially when time travel is involved. Check out the launch trailer below.

The demo is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch. It features select portions from the game with some Time Powers unlocked early. Progress doesn’t carry over since some content may vary. For more details on the experience, check out our review (where we awarded it a 9 out of 10).

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is available on January 18th for the above platforms. Those who purchased the Deluxe Edition can gain early access on January 15th. Of course, it also offers other goodies, including the Prosperity Bird Amulet. Head here to learn more.
