Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is looking more and more like the revival the beloved franchise has been in desperate need of for so long every time we see more of it, and apparently, it’s also going to be quite a meaty experience.

In a preview of the Metroidvania action-adventure platformer recently published by Game Informer, it’s mentioned that Ubisoft estimates the game to be roughly 25 hours long. Whether that’s just for the critical path, with side content adding more hours to the clock, or if the main story is going to be shorter than that estimate hasn’t been mentioned, but either way, it looks like there will be plenty for players to dive into.

Last month, we also had the chance for an extended hands-off look at the game. You can read our impressions through here.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown launches on January 18 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. A free demo will be available on all platforms a week ahead of launch on January 11.
