Sony recently confirmed that the PS5 has sold 10 million units worldwide, and has also provided sales figures for some of its biggest recent first party releases as well- and most of them seem to be doing rather well for themselves, unsurprisingly.
As reported by GamesIndustry, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart has sold over 1.1 million units worldwide, which is an impressive figure for game that launched just about a month and a half ago. Insomniac Games’ action-platformer enjoyed successful launches in the US and the UK, so this doesn’t come as too much of a surprise.
Fellow Insomniac title Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is also continuing to sell well. The game, which is available on both PS5 and PS4 currently stands at over 6.5 million copies sold worldwide since its launch last November. As of the end of 2020, it had sold over 4.1 million units.
Meanwhile, Housemarque’s PS5 exclusive roguelike shooter Returnal has sold over 560,000 copies since its launch this April. The Finnish developer was acquired by PlayStation not long after the game’s release.
Sales figures for other PS5 titles such as Demon’s Souls, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, and Destruction AllStars weren’t provided.
