Red Dead Redemption 2 is Adding DLSS Support on July 13

Rockstar is promising improvements to frame rate and general image quality in its open world game with the upcoming support of DLSS.

It was confirmed about a month ago that Red Dead Redemption 2 would be one of several major games to be adding support for Nvidia’s DLSS on PC in the coming weeks and months. Given how gorgeous Rockstar’s open world western epic already looks, that was certainly an exciting proposition- and now we know exactly when to expect it.

Rockstar recently published an update in which it talked about an upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2 update, which will be bringing plenty of new things to its online component. Notably, however, that update will also add support for Nvidia’s DLSS in the game, and will be going live on July 13. Rockstar says that Nvidia DLSSS support “boosts frame rates and generates beautiful sharp images” in the game, so fans have something to look forward to.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia. Currently, the game is also available in the PlayStation Now catalogue.
