Arkane Austin’s upcoming open world co-op shooter Redfall was the game that Microsoft chose to kick off its Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase, and it did so with quite a lengthy and densely packed gameplay demonstration. It’s pre-beta footage that’s shown off, so it looks a little rough around the edges where visuals are concerned, but there’s a lot to unpack here.
Plenty of combat is shown off, showing off the different weapons and abilities that you’ll have access to as different characters, and how players will be able to work with each other when playing the game co-operatively. Plenty of different locations are also shown off, and of course, there’s no shortage of different vampires on display as well. Check it all out below.
Redfall is in development for Xbox Series X/S and PC. Originally due out this year, the game was recently delayed into the first half of 2023.
