Remedy Collecting Data Regarding Quantum Break’s PC Performance Issues, Talks About “Ghosting” Effect

Remedy Entertainment says collecting data is going slowly.

Quantum Break developers, Remedy Entertainment understands there have been quite a few reports centering around performance issues in its latest game. The firm wants everyone to know they are working hard in order to iron out the issues, but so far the collecting of data is going rather slowly. The company issued statements on Twitter and it appears from those statements that most of the problems are coming from the PC version of the game. That shouldn’t be a huge surprise considering Remedy didn’t originally plan on releasing Quantum Break on the PC at all.

“We are monitoring both Windows 10 and Xbox One Quantum Break and figuring out what issues are real and if any are widespread or not. Collecting data and researching is slow, but we are on it.” Remedy said on its Twitter account. Remedy’s PR Head Thomas Puha brought a little more explanation to what’s happening through his personal Twitter account, especially when he was asked about “ghosting.”

“Ghosting is just a result of the temporal reconstruction. Just the way we render things.” Puha said in one Tweet. The company has also taken some complaints about a kind of grainy look, but the development team says that was intentional.
