Remember Me Developer Reveals ‘Life Is Strange’ For The PS4, Xbox One And PC

DONTNOD Entertainment working on a new IP with a twist.

DONTNOD Entertainment has announced that they are working on a new IP that promises to deliver an episodic narrative experience with a twist. ‘Life Is Strange’ will be published by Square Enix, who must be applauded for taking risks with new IPs. Although their last venture with Murdered Soul Suspect was critically and commercially panned.

‘Life Is Strange’ will also be making its way to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Jean-Max Moris, Creative Director at DONTNOD Entertainment said, “Everybody at DONTNOD is excited to be working on such a refreshing title” said Jean-Max Moris, Creative Director at DONTNOD Entertainment. We’re not only crafting the best game we possibly can, we also feel we’re providing the type of experience that perfectly fits today’s renewed taste for originality and diversity”.

Jon Brooke, VP Brand and European Marketing Square Enix Europe explained why they are publishing the game. “When we first saw LIFE IS STRANGE we immediately realised that DONTNOD have created a unique experience, something special. Everyone who’s seen the game has instantly fallen in love with its distinctive style and mood”.

Life Is Strange is set in the fictional town of Arcadia Bay, Oregon which sees Max Caulfield, a student returning after a five year absence. Max meets up with her friend Chloe and together they solve the mystery behind the disappearance of their friend, Rachel Amber. DONTNOD Entertainment were behind Remember Me, which feature fantastic art direction. Although a commercial failure, Remember Me was an enjoyable game. Hopefully DONTNOD can find success with Life Is Strange.
