Resident Evil fans have been treated to some of the series’ best games ever these last few years, but if your platform of choice is the Nintendo Switch, you’ve perhaps been left wanting. To remedy that (sort of), Capcom confirmed earlier in the year that a number of Resident Evil games would be coming to the Switch exclusively via the cloud, and those games are now available.
Cloud versions of Resident Evil 7 and the remakes of Resident Evil 2 and 3 are all now available on the Nintendo Switch. For Resident Evil 7, all of its post-launch DLCs – including End of Zoe, Not Hero, and Banned Footage Vol. 1 and 2 – are also included in the package at no additional cost.
Resident Evil Village also launched for the Nintendo Switch via the cloud in October, which means all modern-day mainline games in the series are now playable on the platform (even if they’re not native releases).
