Rocket League Passes 1 Million Unique Players on Xbox One

Not necessarily one million copies sold but it's still a great milestone.

It hasn’t even been three weeks since Psyonix’s Rocket League launched on Xbox One but the arcade/sports has already crossed a major milestone.

According to the developer on Twitter, “We have officially eclipsed more than 1 MILLION unique players on @Xbox One! Thank you very much for continuing to support us!”

It should be noted that this doesn’t represent number of copies sold since Rocket League‘s split-screen play counts individual Gamertags as unique players. That being said, The Xbox One version has been out since February 17th and on the same day, Psyonix announced that the game has 11 million downloads since launching on PS4 and PC.

That number, combined with the Xbox One version, is likely to have increased exponentially since then. Rocket League as a whole has amassed $70 million in revenue and sold 4 million copies as of February 25th. A retail release is also planned for later this year.
