Flying Wild Hog’s Shadow Warrior 3 launched last week and though it received fairly decent amount of praise, there’s been some criticism as well. Performance has been an issue among certain players, though short play-time, lack of co-op and so on have also been criticized. As such, the development team confirmed that its job was “not done” and promised a patch.
“We’ve been watching you play our game and taking notes from your feedback that you guys are so gladly providing on our social networks. We are working on a patch that will address the issues you’ve been reporting on and it will be available soon on all platforms.” It’s likely this patch will address performance problems and bugs but we’ll need to wait for more details. Perhaps there will be post-launch updates and content like with the previous game.
Shadow Warrior 3 is currently available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Taking place after the events of Shadow Warrior 2, it sees Lo Wang teaming with Orochi Zilla to take down a massive, world-breaking dragon. Loot and randomly generated stages are gone, replaced with a fixed arsenal of weapons, more linear stages and executions a la DOOM Eternal.
