Shadow Warrior 3, Flying Wild Hog’s latest action-packed first person shooter, is now available for PS4, PC and Xbox One (along with PlayStation Now). Following up on the events of Shadow Warrior 2, it sees Lo Wang and his old nemesis Orochi Zilla working together to take down a giant dragon. It’s easier said than done but perhaps Hoji’s mask may provide an answer.
Doing away with the randomized loot and stages of the previous game, Shadow Warrior 3 features hand-crafted levels and a focus on mobility. Wang can use a grappling hook, wall-run and much more to traverse the environment. Combat features the same mix of guns and slashing but also incorporates Gore Weapons.
Executing foes essentially provides a piece of them which can be used as a temporary weapon. Overall, combat is fairly compelling – you can read more about the game and what we thought about it here. Stay tuned for more details, including news on further updates, in the future.
