Skyrim VR Patch 1.02 Adds Smooth Rotation

Fus Ro Dah in VR properly now.

Skyrim VR is a wonderful game, and the first realization of a full fledged AAA experience in VR that we have gotten. But, being the first, it is also one of the buggiest and most flawed ones- which, coupled with Skyrim‘s general bugginess (which, six years on, has not been addressed) just makes things worse.

One of the big problems that Skyrim VR has had is the lack of a smooth rotation and movement option, as well as motion drift that begins to set in over time- now, the new patch for the game, update 1.02, which is out now, should help, because it addresses both of those issues.

That is not the only thing that it fixes, because the extensive patch notes make it clear that a lot of other problems have also ben addressed- you can check them out for yourself below. The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim is available for – take a breath – PS3, PS4, PSVR, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, with enhanced versions for the PC, Xbox One X, and PS4 Pro also out.

Whew, lad.
