Starfield Reserves 100 GB for Mods on Xbox Series X/S

Xbox Series X/S players will be able to install quite a few mods for Starfield with all that reserved storage.

The latest update for Starfield has brought with it host of new features, including support for mods on PC as well as Xbox Series X/S. In fact, on that front, Reddit user JoeZocktGames has spotted that Starfield reserves 100 GB of storage on Xbox Series X/S just for mods.

While the size of mods tends to vary significantly depending on the scale of the mods installed, using up 100 GB of storage on just mods for Starfield will require quite a bit of effort, and a lot of mods. Currently, most of the mods for Starfield are much smaller.

Starfield’s June update was released over the weekend alongside the reveal of the game’s first expansion in the form of Shattered Space. The expansion will throw players in a new conflict that revolves around House Va’Ruun. Along the way, players will also have to take on a new cosmic threat.

Starfield: Shattered Space got a gameplay trailer at the Xbox Games Showcase on Sunday, which showed off quite a few new features, including unique weapons, space suits, and gear. The expansion will also bring with it new creatures and enemies for players to fight.
