Following its biggest update to Starfield, Bethesda Game Studios has debuted the first gameplay trailer for its expansion, Shattered Space. It’s out later this year and sees players venturing to Dazra to investigate a strange power. However, as rumored, they’ll have to deal with House Va’Ruun and even a new cosmic threat.
The expansion features new quests, unique weapons, space suits and gear. We also see new creatures, popping up on space stations and capable of camouflaging themselves. It also seems that players can choose to join Va’Ruun, worshipping its serpentine entity. How that will influence the ending and story remains to be seen, but it could have interesting consequences for the base game as well.
Starfield: Shattered Space will be available for Xbox Series X/S and PC at launch, with Premium Edition owners getting it for free. Stay tuned for more details and gameplay, alongside a solid release date, in the coming weeks.
